What is a Vaulta account?

Short answer
A Vaulta account (the chain formerly known as EOS) is an on-chain name, usually 12 characters, controlled by permission keys. The account holds balances and resources. Whoever controls the owner and active keys controls the account. Blocksfinity is a non-custodial explorer and wallet toolkit: it helps you create and use accounts, but it does not hold your keys.
Keys and custody
Blocksfinity does not store seed phrases, private keys, or passkeys. We cannot reset access if every recovery path is lost. Keep an offline owner key and at least one other path (Authenticator, another wallet, or a passkey when enabled). Details: FAQ and recover access guide.
Create on Blocksfinity
Two product paths exist on Get started:
- Paid create: full ownership right away through Blocksfinity create. Save the recovery material shown at create. Blocksfinity never sees or stores those keys.
- Free path (when enabled): Identity Inc. verification, then bind and unlock. See Identity.
